Roy Lee, DDS

Dr. Roy Lee is excited to join Shoreview Family Dental and begin caring for patients in the community he calls home.

Dr. Lee graduated with highest honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2021. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, where he broadened his experience in comprehensive dental care, emergency treatment, and the management of patients with complex medical needs.

Dr. Lee believes excellent dental care begins with listening. He takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain the reasoning behind his recommendations, and make sure they feel informed throughout the process. His approach is comprehensive and individualized, balancing immediate needs with long-term oral health. Above all, he values the trust that develops through honest communication, thoughtful care, and relationships built over time.

Dr. Lee has made advanced training a central part of his professional development. He is completing the two-year RipeGlobal Restorative Fellowship, with focused training in comprehensive restorative care, veneers, and full-mouth rehabilitation. He also continues his education through Spear Education and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This training supports a more deliberate approach to diagnosis, treatment planning, and the long-term function and appearance of his patients’ smiles.

Dr. Lee and his wife live in Shoreview just a few minutes from the office. He values the opportunity to practice in the same community they call home and looks forward to building lasting relationships with local patients and families.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lee is happiest sharing everyday life with his wife and their dog, Joey, and being actively involved in his local church. He also enjoys working out, spending time with friends, and playing golf whenever Minnesota weather allows.
